Collaborative databases

DARIAH-BE offers a number of collaborative databases, which are developed to meet the needs of researchers in the humanities. The various collaborative databases are listed below under ‘related projects’. Partner institutions of DARIAH-BE are encouraged to provide advice regarding data standards and linked data. For example, the Ghent Centre for Digital Humanities offers advice and support for collaborative databases at Ghent University. DARIAH-BE also helps researchers to develop their own database instance, powered by, for example Nodegoat.

Nodegoat is a web-based collaborative data management environment. With its user-friendly graphical interface, Nodegoat is specifically targeted for urse by humanities researchers who are interested in extending their research activiteits into the digital realm. Nodetoat enables researchers to collect, manage, analyse and visualise data collected as part of their research process.
