DARIAH-EU Annual Event: Outline programme available

Het Pand, Ghent University Conference CentreWe are delighted to report that further details about the DARIAH-EU Annual Event which will take place from 10-12 October at the Ghent University Convention Centre, ‘Het Pand’ have been published on the DARIAH-EU website.

Together with colleagues from DARIAH-EU, the outline programme for the DARIAH-EU Annual Event has been put in place.

We are now in the process of liaising with the existing DARIAH-EU Working Groups regarding how they would like to contribute. For Working Groups in the process of being established, such as those in Belgium, there will be also the opportunity to contribute to the meeting.  We will be in contact with the Working Group Coordinators about this shortly.

Digital Arts and Humanities Lab
On the afternoon of Tuesday 11 October, the event will be opened up beyond the DARIAH community. The Digital Arts and Humanities Lab is intended to be an interactive session will bring together researchers, technologists, data scientists and cultural heritage professionals, to demonstrate and engage with data, tools and services around the theme of digital arts and humanities. A call for participation will be launched shortly.  For Belgium, this would be an ideal opportunity to develop new partnerships with local organisations.

Registration for the event, including the (self-paid) social dinner, which will be held at the Pakhuis Brasserie, will be available in August.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ghent in October!
